EC Safety Solutions are the proud recipients of the Defence Recognition Scheme Silver Award for our continued support of the Armed Forces Covenant
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire other organisations to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community and align their values with the armed forces covenant Having achieved the bronze award in 2021 and the silver award in 2023, the team at EC Safety are honoured to achieve the Gold Award this year and pledge to fully support the defence community in all that we do.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the Nation to those who serve. It says we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. This includes offering injured servicemen and women and bereaved families extra support where appropriate.
To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.
It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
